Account Director, permanent part-time

Reporting to: Brooke Hill, Founder & Director
HQ address: Remote (some in-person meetings required)
Hours: 20 hours per week

Their previous experience
- 8+ years minimum in marketing, creative or content-related business
- Proven experience at Account Director level in a creative agency or similar environment
- Copywriting experience preferred but not essential
- Client-side experience preferred but not essential
- Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and drive account growth
- Experience mentoring and leading teams
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects at once
- Demonstrated experience improving and implementing business operations and processes

RESPONSIBILITIES
70% – Project Leadership and Content Production
- Leading and managing projects (using Asana, Gmail and other platforms for project tracking and communications), ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery
- Receiving briefs from clients and liaising with them (responding same day/within 24 hours)
- Briefing copywriters and contractors (scope, deliverables, deadlines, budgets), identifying gaps and resolving proactively
- Managing team workflows and weekly capacity reviews to ensure optimum resourcing
- Scheduling and coordinating client/team/external interviews and meetings
- Representing Wonderthink in virtual and in-person meetings with confidence and professionalism
- Delivering content with care (on time, well-formatted, clear expectations)
- Publishing content for clients (Adobe Experience Manager and WordPress experience preferred, but not essential)
- Leading weekly internal WIPs
- Leading and preparing client WIPs, including follow-ups
- Keeping retainer trackers up to date and communicating transparently about servicing
- Become a trusted, respected and commercially minded partner to clients, with deep understanding of their needs and honest, proactive communication to help them achieve their goals
20% – New Business Development
- Scoping projects (preparing quotes)
- Identifying and acting on commercial opportunities to grow client accounts and attract new business, with entrepreneurial drive and strategic foresight
- Driving execution of Wonderthink promotional content (e.g. case study content, testimonials, awards submissions etc)
- Actively participating in strategic planning for client accounts and the agency’s growth
10% – Admin
- Track time and resourcing using internal tools
- Organising gifting (welcome gifts to clients, Christmas gifts etc)
- Helping plan and organise Wonderthink events
- Contribute to and champion team culture

PACKAGE
- $120,000 per annum pro rata
- Work from home, some IRL meetings required
- Permanent part-time – 20 hours per week
- Must be based in Australia, Eastern states (AEST/AEDT only)
- Greater Sydney area is preferred
